Smoke Jumpers for Free!

I’m not sure when this happened or if it’s a “’til death do us part” kind of scenario rather than a Vegas hookup scenario (which is a windy way of saying “I’ve got no clue how long this lasts”), but my first ever smoke jumper books are available for free in Kindle Unlimited. Burning Up was my first contemporary book–I’d been itching to write one, and I’d mentioned it to my agent who mentioned it to my then-editor Alicia Condon at Kensington… who promptly said “Why can’t she write that for me!”  Which is honestly every writer’s dream to hear, so I promptly did. Even better, they did an actual cover shoot (to which I was not invited LOL) and it was picked up by Time magazine. The guy on the cover of these two books is actually the same guy (ah budgets), and he was a med student. Sometimes, fantasy guys do exist in real life!
